William P. Mueller

William P. Mueller, 94, of Sheboygan, passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 19, 2026 at Countryside Manor where he had been residing.

Born April 12, 1932 in Sheboygan, William was the son of the late William and Emma Muehlbaur Mueller. He attended Sheboygan area schools. He went on to serve his country in the U.S. Marines from 1951 to 1954. On November 22, 1958, he was united in marriage to Janet V. McDonald at St. Dominic Catholic Church. They were married for 36 years before Janet preceded him in death on October 2, 1995.

William worked for Plastics Manufacturing for 30 years before his retirement in 1995. He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church.

He is survived by his children, Michele (Mike) DeMars, Howards Grove, and Mark (Patty) Mueller, Waupun; his granddaughters, Jessica DeMars, Paige (Matthew) Holubowicz, and Makenna (Devin) Mahuta; three great grandchildren, Mariella & Landon Holubowicz and Theodore Mahuta; other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents and his wife, Janet, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn (Ruben) Schmelter.

According to his wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Inurnment will take place next to Janet in the mausoleum of Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Countryside Manor, especially Becky and Nichole, and Ann as well as the staff of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
