William H. Peitzmeier, 62, of Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday morning, November 30, 2014 at his home. Born July 2, 1952 in Sheboygan, William was a son of the late Elmer and June Kannas Peitzmeier. He attended area schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1970. On September 15, 2001, he was united in marriage to Mary C. Davis Wiese in Sioux Falls, SD. He was previously married to Joell Lamb. William was employed with VPI in Sheboygan for 40 years, planning to retire next month. He was an avid sports fan, enjoying bowling, golf and watching the Badgers and the Packers. He also enjoyed fishing but his greatest joy were his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his two sons, Gary Peitzmeier, Gilbert, AZ and Kenny (Jennifer Verheyen) Peitzmeier, Sheboygan; his step children, Allen (Stephanie) Wiese, Pratt, KS, Cathy Wiese, Kearney, NE, and Jodi (Lance) Mulder, Adrian, MI; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is further survived by his brothers, Mark (Gail) Loesing, Sheboygan, and Herbie Schlenther, Phoenix, AZ; and his in-laws, Tom (Vicki) Davis, Sioux Falls, SD, Sharon Pinkert, Milbank, SD, Sandy (Randy) Flaskey, Brooking, SD, Lauri Davis, Sioux Falls, Beth (Kevin) Kjergarrd, Sioux Falls, and Michael Davis, Sioux Falls; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father, Robert Loesing. Funeral services for William will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. The Rev. Lorri Steward will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
