William F. Dodge, Sr., 74, of Sheboygan passed away Monday, January 26, 2015 at his home. Born January 24, 1941 in Shawano, William was a son of the late William and Angelina Wayka Dodge. He attended schools in Keshena, WI. He went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, serving from 1960 until 1964. He was married to Karen Haack. On February 15, 1984, he was united in marriage to Sharon E. Konaha in Sheboygan. They were married for 19 years before Sharon preceded him in death on November 1, 2003. Bill worked for the City of Sheboygan in the sanitation department for many years, retiring in 1996. He enjoyed playing on the dart league at Skip'er Inn. He was an avid Packer and Redskin fan and also enjoyed NASCAR. He always enjoyed his porch parties for Memorial Day, cooking out for his friends and family. His greatest joy was watching TLC "How to" shows on TV. Sonny is survived by his children, Diana (Tim) Erdmann, Angel Dodge and Barbara (Rick Kunstman, Sr.) Dodge, all of Sheboygan; step children, Tippy (Robert) Lafave, Carla (Dino) Wiehr, Peter (Amy) Konaha, Edward Konaha, Carol (Shaun) Anderson, all of Sheboygan; grandchildren, Nathaniel (Ashley) Dodge, Manitowoc, Deaven Dodge, Sheboygan, Brianna (Robin Stahl, III) Dodge, Sheboygan, Anthony Jacoby, Minneapolis, MN, Nichole Zelko and Jeffrey Zelko, both of Sheboygan, Rianna (Perry) Kaiser, Sheboygan Falls, Holly Lafave, Milwaukee, Michael Lafave, Andy Lafave, April Stevens, Kurt, Deanna, Crystal and Karl Wiehr, Jeffery, Jonathan, Kayla, Brandon and Emily Konaha, Joey, Shantel and Jordan Anderson, all of Sheboygan, and Kyle Anderson, Green Bay; twenty two great grandchildren; his sister, Victoria Dodge Delabrau, Shawano; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is further survived by his beloved cat, B.W. Besides his parents and wife Sharon, he was preceded in death by his son, William Dodge, Jr., and his brothers and sisters. A Gathering to celebrate Bill's life will take place on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Inurnment will take place in Wildwood Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in his name. The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with William's arrangements.
