Wesley F. Henning, 64, of Sheboygan, passed away Thursday afternoon, May 14, 2015 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon due to heart complications. Born November 13, 1950 in Sheboygan, Wesley was the son of the late Lester and Marjorie Muir Henning. He attended Sheboygan South High School, class of 1969. He then went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1972, stationed in Germany. On September 1, 1973, he was united in marriage to Louise K. Schoemer at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Wes was a finisher at Polar Ware for 25 years until his retirement. He previously worked at Armira Leather. He was a member of Holy Name Church. He was an avid Packers, Bucks and Brewers fan who loved taking trips to Door County, grilling, playing the drums, and talking to his friends. He also enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Sheboygan Softball Association. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Louise; his daughter, Ann (Trevin) Mueller; his son, Daniel Henning; his grandchildren, Brianna and Connor Mueller, all of Sheboygan; his sisters, Barbara (Michael) Graumann, Sheboygan, and Susie (Jeffrey) Gierke, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Christine Holbrook and Lynn Suprick. A Memorial Mass will take place at 1:00 pm on Tuesday May 26, 2015 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 818 Huron Avenue. Father Matthew Widder will celebrate the Mass. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. A memorial fund has been established in his name. The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Wesley's arrangements.
