Vivencio J. Nacorda,78, of Sheboygan, passed away Thursday morning, January 28, 2016 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.
Born July 4, 1937 in the Philippines, Ben was a son of the late Basilio and Elena Nacorda. On October 17, 1964, he was united in marriage to Zenaida C. Rones in the Philippines.
Ben was a journey mechanic at Wigwam Mills for many years before his retirement. He attended Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. He enjoyed trips to Oneida and Las Vegas casinos. He loved going to the movie theater and out to eat with his wife, Zeny.
He is survived by his former wife, Zeny; his children, Juliet, Louie, Arnel (Merly), Norman, and Milani (Alex); his grandchildren, Arnold, Aaron, Jillian, Shawn, Justin and Jason. He was preceded in death by his son, Oliver.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 807 Superior Avenue. Fr. Matthew Widder will celebrate the Mass. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
