Theresa Schwartz

Theresa Schwartz, 92, of Sheboygan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 13, 2025, with her family by her side, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.  She was born on December 16, 1932, in Elmwood to the late Michael and Margaret Louisa (Zimmer) Mousel.  Theresa graduated from Durand High School with the Class of 1951.
On October 5, 1953, she was united in marriage to Robert A. Schwartz at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Durand. In 1958 Robert and Theresa moved to Sheboygan. Together they celebrated 47 years of marriage and raised six children, before he preceded her in death on July 1, 2001.
Theresa had a strong faith and was a member of St. John Evangelist Catholic Parish in Kohler.  Theresa was very talented when it came to sewing and crafting. She served for many years with the Mission Society at St. John making quilts and other items.  She spent many hours at Homespun in Sheboygan and the Craft Barn in Plymouth.  Family was very important to her; she cherished all the lasting memories she created with her children and grandchildren.
Theresa is survived by her sons Michael and Roger Schwartz both of Sheboygan, daughters Diane Lenz of Sheboygan and Michele Schwartz of Plymouth, her eight grandchildren; Timothy (Jennifer) Lenz, Tiffany (Justin) Vorpagel, Nicholas Schwartz, Lauren (Colin) Leyton, Logan (Jordyn) Schwartz, Halle Schwartz, Christin (Michael) Koenig, and Michael Schwartz, by her great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law Dawn Schwartz. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Sr., daughter Pamela K. Schwartz, sons Robert Jr. and Gregory Schwartz and ten siblings.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, 11:00 AM at St. John Evangelist Catholic Parish, 601 Valley Rd. Kohler, with Rev. Michael Lawinger officiating.
Entombment will take place on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6706 Superior Ave. Kohler.  Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass at the CHURCH.
