Suzanne M. Lilge, 64, of Sheboygan, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at her home following a lengthy illness.
Born July 4, 1951 in Sparta, WI, Suzanne was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Lorraine Berg. She attended St. Mary's Catholic School and graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1969. She then continued her education at the Sheboygan County Teachers College. On April 2, 1977, she was united in marriage to Mark R. Lilge at St. John's United Church of Christ.
Sue worked at K Mart, McDonalds West and at Prange's for many years. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and was a member of the SCRIP committee. She enjoyed scrapbooking, crocheting, sewing, cross stitch, reading and traveling with her Dad. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the St. Luke's Crafty Crafters and the Saturday morning card club.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; her children, Kenneth (Rachel) Lilge, Sheboygan Falls, and Cody Lilge, Sheboygan; her brothers and sisters, Roger (Sandy) Berg, St. Cloud, FL, Diane Micoliczyk, Sheboygan Falls, Joanne (Dennis) Roehrborn, Sheboygan Falls, and Gary (Jane Larson) Berg, Brown Deer; her mother-in-law, Ruth Lilge, Plymouth; her in-laws, Bruce Lilge, Sheboygan, and Karen (Art) Burgard, Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She is further survived by her very best friend, Bobbi Rosterd and her beloved dog, Luci.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William John Lilge, her sister, Christine Berg, her father-in-law, John Lilge, her sister-in-law, Michele Lilge, and her brother-in-law, Richard Micoliczyk.
Memorial services for Suzanne will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2016 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 13th & Lincoln Avenue. The Rev. Gregory Whelton will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name for the Sheboygan County Humane Society.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Suzanne's arrangements.
