Susan Mae Goebel

Susan Mae Goebel, 54, of Sheboygan, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Born January 20, 1961, in Sheboygan, Susan was a daughter of Bernard and Rose Mary Vande Loo Dedering. She attended Holy Name School and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1979. On June 10, 1983, she was united in marriage to Fred J. Goebel in Las Vegas, NV. Susan worked as a planning technician for many years for the Sheboygan County Planning & Conservation Department. She enjoyed cooking, reading, traveling and had a great love of animals, especially their cats. She is survived by her husband, Fred "Fritz" Goebel, Sheboygan; her parents, Rose Mary and Bernard Dedering; her brother, Jeffrey (Kristin) Dedering, Kohler; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Laura Dedering. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services or visitation. Inurnment will take place in the Tranquility Urn Garden of Greenlawn Memorial Park. Donations in her name may be made to the Sheboygan County Humane Society. The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Susan's arrangements.
