Susan A. Jerving

Susan Ann Jerving, 73, of Sheboygan, passed away Monday morning, November 18, 2024, at Morningside Health Services where she had been residing.
Born May 13, 1951, in Sheboygan, Susan was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anne Huibregtse Butsch. She attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1969. She continued her education at U.W. Stout and the U.W. Sheboygan. On August 24, 1974, she was united in marriage to Michael W. Jerving at Hope Reformed Church in Sheboygan.
Susan worked as a printer for many years for the City of Sheboygan and the Mead Public Library until her retirement. She also worked for Younker's Department Store. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was an avid Wisconsin sports fan who enjoyed cheering on the Packer's, Brewer's, Bucks, and Badgers. She enjoyed playing cards, cooking, entertaining, and collecting cook books. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her her husband of 50 years, Michael; her daughters, Amanda (Nigel) Hadley, Milwaukee, and Jessica Jerving, Winchester, CA; her three grandchildren, Noah Wilhelm, William Hadley, and Oliver Henderson; her brother-in-law, James (Chris) Jerving, Madison; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Besides her parents, Joseph and Anne, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jo Edler; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Noel.
Memorial services for Susan will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at the Chapel of Eternal Light of Greenlawn Memorial Park.
A memorial fund has been established in her name for the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Morningside Health Services and the Sharon S. Richardson Community hospice for all of their loving care and support.
