Sunshine M. Sommer, 39, of S. 7th Street, passed away Tuesday morning in Sheboygan. Born August 8, 1974 in Sheboygan, Sunshine was the daughter of Thomas J. Welsing and Bernadette Bochte Gromowski. She attended area schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1992. She furthered her education by earning an associates degree as an administrative assistant. On June 28, 1991, she was united in marriage to John Sommer. For the past year, Sunshine worked at Walgreens in Sheboygan. She enjoyed spending time at home with her family and close friends. She is survived by her three sons, John, Jesse and Peter, all of Sheboygan; her mother, Bernadette (John) Gromowski, Sun City, AZ; sister and brothers, JoAnn (Jason) Meloy, Sheboygan, Joseph (Linda) Winscher, Appleton, Max Welsing, Sheboygan, and Garrett (Lisa) Winscher, Waupun; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relative and friends, She is further survived by her dear friend, Theresa. A time of gathering will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
