Steven N. Heus

Steven N. Heus, Sheboygan Falls, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 at the age of 72. He fought a difficult battle with cancer.
He was born July 1, 1948, son of the late Norbert and Beulah Heus. He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1966. He then graduated from California State University in 1978. He served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Steve was employed at Bemis Manufacturing Inc. for 29 years as a receiving clerk before retiring in 2017. Steve loved being a father and getting together with his family and friends. We have many fond memories of times spent at Pine Lodge. His sense of humor will be greatly missed. Steve also enjoyed reading and watching old movies. He very much enjoyed tinkering in the garage and refinishing old furniture. On sunny days he enjoyed taking his convertible for a ride to the kettles. Many Sundays were spent watching the Packers with his high school buddies.
Survivors include his son Lawrence Hildebrand; sisters Linda Heus, Roxane (Tom) Mosher, and Marilyn (John) Kregel; and nephews Greg and Jeff Heus. He is further survived by special friends, Doris Sager, Gary ‘Schom” Schomberg, Marty Eigenberger and Jack Richardson.
He was preceded in death by his parents Norbert and Beulah, his brother Mike (Marilyn "Meby") Heus, and sister Maureen Heus.
Our family would like to give Doris a heartfelt thank you for her strength and care of Steve during his cancer fight. Also, we would like to say thank you to Dr. Matthews and staff, Dr. George Schroeder and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice team for all your care given to Steve.
A Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 1:00 to 4:00 at Chris and Sue’s W3820 Cty Rd C, Plymouth WI 53073.
