Steve Stauber, 59, passed away peacefully at home on 5/11/19, from numerous health issues.
Born on 1/23/1960 in Sheboygan, WI, to Floyd and Carolyn (Rieck) Stauber. He completed his education at Sheboygan North High School.
Steve was well known through his employment at Gus Holman Company and Bitter Neumann Appliance and Furniture.
He was an avid fan of all professional sports but mainly the Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Brewers, the Green Bay Packers, but most especially the Washington Redskins. He enjoyed spending his free time attending KISS concerts, Sheboygan A's games, and singing karaoke with friends and family. He will be fondly remembered for his KISS impersonations and for his rendition of "Sweet Caroline."
Steve is survived by his only daughter, Krystal Knudson (Jake Karls); grandsons Grayson Knudson, Ashton Karls, and Logan Karls; two sisters, LuAnn Rashid and Gail (Dale) Soerens; nieces Tiffaney Stauber and Abbey Stauber; nephews Desi Stauber and Codey Rashid. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Dale Stauber.
The family will not be holding a memorial service.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the responding officers from the Sheboygan Police Department and the attending EMTs for all their help and support.
