Simon "Sam" E. Salm

Simon E. "Sam" Salm, 78, of Sheboygan, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.
He was born on May 17, 1943 in St. Anne, IL, to Simon and Jennie Provily Salm. He graduated from St. Anne High School and the University of Southern Illinois. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany in the early 1960's.
On October 2, 1981, he was united in marriage to Ann J. Ninmer in Sheboygan.
Sam was the Vice President of Sales at Rockline Industries for 35 years before his retirement in 2006. He enjoyed reading, fishing, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He was an avid Bucks, Packers and Brewers fan.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Ann; 2 brothers-in-law, Thomas Ninmer, Sheboygan, and Roger Ninmer, Edgerton, WI; 4 sisters-in-law, Mary Lowe, Sheboygan, Grace (Richard) Reichardt, Sheboygan, Jane Lange, FL, and Nancy Wyveen, Shawano; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, Sam was preceded in death by his brothers, Jacob (Wilhelmena) Salm, and Andrew Salm; and his sister, Grace (Clarence) Sikma.
A memorial services is being planned for a later date and will be announced at that time.
A memorial fund has been established in his name for the Sheboygan County Food Bank.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Sam's arrangements.
