Born April 12, 1963 in Stuttgart, Germany, Sherry was a daughter of Roger and Uta Schmid Brousseau. She attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1981.
Sherry was a CNA both at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center and Sunny Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center for 28 years. She enjoyed gardening and helping others. Her greatest joy was spending time with her nieces, nephews and the neighborhood children.
She is survived by her mother, Uta Brousseau, Sheboygan; her father, Roger Brousseau, Sheboygan; her brothers, Mike Brousseau, Chippewa Falls, and Terry Brousseau, Sheboygan; her sister, Carolyn Brousseau, Sheboygan; nephews and nieces, Curtis Brousseau, Sheboygan, Noah Morgan, Sheboygan, Zoee Schlueter, Sheboygan, Nick Brousseau, Chippewa Falls, and Samantha Brousseau, Chippewa Falls; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. She is further survived by her dog, Tobi.
Funeral services for Sherry will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2016, at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan. Rev. Thomas Fleischmann, chaplain of Rocky Knoll, will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to thank the Sheboygan Police Department and First Responders for all of their care and concern.
