Scott L. Smith

Scott L. Smith, 68, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday morning, August 31, 2025 at his home.

Born October 23, 1956 in Two Rivers, WI, Scott was a son of the late Leroy and Carol Johnson Smith. He attended Mishicot High School. On September 24, 1984, he was united in marriage to Tammy R. Salzwedel in Goshen, IN.

Scott worked for Transtar Medical Transport for the last three years following his retirement. He was previously self employed in the Sheboygan area for many years. Scott loved collecting antiques and going on thrifting adventures and was an avid Packers fan. His greatest joy was providing for his family.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Tammy; his children, Casey Smith, Sheboygan, Stephanie (Jason) Niesing, DeSoto, TX, Erica (Dustin) Dalluge, Story City, IA and Scott, Jr. (Courtney) Smith, St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Nevaeh, Christiana and Ezra Niesing, and August and Piper Dalluge; and his beloved best fur friend, Norman. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters, Daniel (Debbie) Smith, Lynn (Kurt) Kahlenberg, Lori (Mike) Zich, Lisa Smith, Louann Smith, Lee Smith and Kenneth Smith; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, Leroy and Carol, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Smith.

A Celebration of Life for Scott will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan. Scott's son-in-law, Pastor Jason Niesing, will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
