Samuel Datil, Jr.

Samuel Datil, Jr, 60, of Sheboygan, passed away Saturday evening, September 19, 2020 at the Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.
Born June 22, 1960 in Chicago, IL, Samuel was a son of the late Samuel and Carmen Soto Datil. He attended Chicago area schools. On June 11, 1977, he was united in marriage to Margarita DeLeon in Chicago.
He was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. He enjoyed listening to music, especially salsa and merengue. He also had a passion for cars. But his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and sister, Tina.
He is survived by his children, Carmina (Arnulfo) Martinez, Wheeling, IL, and Jasmin (John) Harrison, Grayslake, IL; his grandchildren, Issac Martinez and Johnathan, Kayla and Matthew Harrison; his wife, Margarita Datil; his beloved sister, Tina (Jorge Maldonado) DeLeon, Chicago, IL; nieces, nephews, cousins, especially Juanito Soto and family, other relatives and many friends.
Private family services will take place.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the ICU at ASMMC, especially Jodie and Amber for all of their loving care and support.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Samuel's arrangements.
