Ruth L. Barbone

May 21, 1921 — June 25, 2013

Ruth L. Barbone, age 92, of Sheboygan passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Ruth was born May 21, 1921 to the late Hilda (Wesener) and Charles Leicht. Ruth was united in marriage to Ralph Barbone on June 28, 1952 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1939 and later attended the Sheboygan Business College graduating in 1940. Ruth's career included positions at several Sheboygan companies and The Kohler Company where she retired from in 1955 as the Secretary to the Treasurer. Ruth was an award winning seamstress, an accomplished organ player,a long time volunteer at Maywood and a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for over 60 years. Let it be said that Ruth also loved a good game of 500 Rummy. She is survived by her sister in law Loella Leicht of Sheboygan,WI, her sister, Joyce Davis of Chetek,WI and her nieces Terie Leicht (Tim Day) of Fredonia, WI and Cindy Leicht (Fred Mueller) of Bur Ridge, Ill. and nephew Jeffrey Leicht (Jane Stormzand) of Richfield, WI. She is further survived by great niece and nephew Megan Leicht of Racine, WI and Leyton Mueller of Bur Ridge,Ill. Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ralph and her twin brother, Raymond G. Leicht. Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Wildwood Cemetery. The Lippert-Olson Funeral Home has been entrusted with Ruth's arrangements.
