Rosemary Anderson, 99, of Sheboygan, was called to her heavenly home on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Countryside Manor. Rosemary was born November 10, 1926, in Sheboygan to the late Paul and Lucy (Trimberger) Fox.
Rosemary Fox graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1945 with the senior caption: “Talents unlimited” and she certainly lived up to that attribute. Rosie could do just about anything!
On August 16, 1947, she was united in marriage to Arthur Anderson at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Sheboygan. Together they celebrated 57 years of marriage before he preceded her in death in 2004.
Rosemary had a strong faith and was an active member of St. Dominic Parish. She was a member of the Senior Choir for over 60 years, the funeral choir and a cantor. Over the years she was also a member of the Christian Mothers, Catholic Daughters, Altar Society, Mission Ladies Quilters, St Anne’s Society, Liturgy Committee, Senior Dynamos, Homebound ministry, and probably more.
As a lifelong resident of Sheboygan, the Community was a big part of Rosie’s life. She was a talented seamstress making the color guard uniforms for the Sheboygan Youth Band and a fabulous award-winning quilter as a member of the Sheboygan County Quilters Guild and Camo Quilts for Veterans. She made more than 100 unique one of a kind calendar quilt for her cherished friends. She volunteered at St Nicholas Hospital and made baby quilts for the NICU. Rosie was a golfer, bowler, girl scout and cub scout leader and an avid swimmer until she was 97 years old.
Her talent for building started in 1952 when she and Artie built their house, with her putting the roof on and continuing with many home improvement projects for her kids. “Talents Unlimited”
Rosemary is survived by her children; Carol (Mike) Grunwald of Newton, Jim (Sara) Anderson of Dallas, TX and daughter-in-law Barbara Anderson of Sheboygan, by her three Darlings who lovingly called her Boppy; Andy (Elizabeth) Grunwald of Los Fresnos, TX, Dan and Lucy Grunwald of Newton, one step grandson Greg (Jennifer) Van Elzen of Kaukauna, and three step great-granddaughters Abby, Kylie and Lexi Van Elzen, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
