Rose "Rosie" C. Frederick

Rose C. "Rosie" Frederick, 93, formerly of Sheboygan, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center where she had been residing.
Born May 18, 1930 in Sheboygan, Rose was a daughter of the late John and Sophia Zitzer Schneider, Sr. She attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Central High School in 1948. On August 18, 1951, she was united in marriage to Clarence Frederick at Ebenezer Lutheran Church.
Rosie worked in the loan department of Security First Bank for many years before her retirement. She was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan, especially when she was cheering for Paul Molitor.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Mary) Frederick; her sister, Betty Vanic; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John (Marge), Jr. and Herman (Geraldine) Schneider; three sisters, Lydia (Elden "Bud") Bush, Marie (John) Wiegand and Hilde Schneider; and a brother-in-law, Richard Vanic.
A funeral service for Rose will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023 at the Chapel of Sunrise Memorial Gardens, 7411 Sauk Trail Road, Sheboygan. Pastor Christian Gugel will officiate. Interment will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Rocky Knoll Health Care Center and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
