Ronald E. Seefeldt, 91, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday afternoon, December 15, 2024 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Born May 21, 1933 in Sheboygan, Ronald was a son of the late Bernard and Emma Zitzer Seefeldt. He attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1952. On September 18, 1954, he was united in marriage to Sally Ann Welland at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. They were married for 51 years before Sally preceded him in death on March 29, 2006.
Ron was a cabinet maker by trade and worked for Wind Mill Slatwall in Sheboygan Falls until his retirement. He previously worked at Ebenreiter Lumber, AA Laun Furniture, Mayline, Fuller Brush and Precision Woodworking. He was as member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. He was a gifted woodworker and craftsman and enjoyed spending time in his shop. He also loved to go fishing.
He is survived by his four children, Cynthia (Stan) Grycan, Sheboygan, Susan (James) Hermann, Milwaukee, Jeffrey (Lori) Seefeldt, Sheboygan, and Scott (Denise) Seefeldt,; his grandchildren, Jeremy (Amanda) Moehr, Lisa (Jacob) Koepsell, Angela Sexton, Sally Berninger, Dylan Seefeldt, Samuel Seefeldt, Derek (Kassi) Seefeldt, and Nicholas (Chloe) Seefeldt; 17 great-grandchildren; his brother, Gordon Seefeldt; Plymouth; his sister, Carol (Mark) Gartman, Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents and his wife, Sally, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Leroy, Robert, and Bernard Seefeldt; and his sister, Darlene Seefeldt.
Funeral services for Ronald will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will take place in the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum of Greenlawn Memorial Park.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
