Ronald F. Henning, 84, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday morning, November 13, 2015 at St. Nicholas Hospital. Born April 17, 1931 in Sheboygan, Ronald was a son of the late Frank and Agnes Wendler Henning. He attended area schools and graduated from Central High School in 1949. On November 17, 1950, he was united in marriage to Carol Mae Nickel. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1949 to 1955 at Great Lakes, Norfolk and aboard the USS Midway during the Korean War. Ron worked for Hayssen Manufacturing for 25 years, retiring in June of 1993. He was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church and the U.A.W. He enjoyed dartball, bowling, playing bingo and golf. He is survived by one son, Jeffry (Mary) Henning, Sheboygan; three daughters, Marsha (Tim) Nachtwey, Sheboygan, Rhonda (Joe) Sharpe, Sheboygan, Amy (Brett) Schwarz, Sheboygan; six grandchildren, Matthew (Carrie) Nachtwey, Aaron (Dawn) Nachtwey, Andrew (Rebecca) Sharpe, Stephanie (Paul) Froehlich, Jacob and Hanna Schwarz; twelve great grandchildren, Kailya, Keith and Keegin Nachtwey, Natalee, Mckenzie and Brookelyn Nachtwey; Jude and Eli Froehlich, Daphne Sharpe, Baby Boy Sharpe, and Camden Jensema. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lester Henning, and his sister, Sylvia Repphun. Private family services will be held. A memorial fund has been established in his name and may be directed to Marsha Nachtwey at 1111 Swift Avenue, Sheboygan, WI 53081. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Marsho Medical Group, Sunny Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, St. Nicholas Home Health & Hospice and Pastor Kubow for all of their loving care and support.
