Robert J. Loux, 73, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 19, 2016 at St. Nicholas Hospital surrounded by his family.
Born August 11, 1942 in Sheboygan, Robert was a son of the late Raymond and Dorothy Zywicke Loux. He attended area schools and gradated from Central High School 1959. On July 3, 1965, he was united in marriage to Patricia Anne Kreutz at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Church. They were married for 39 years before Patricia preceded him in death on January 11, 2005.
Bob worked for the Kohler Company for 40 years, retiring in 2005. He was an avid sports fan, enjoying the Packers and the Brewers. He loved golf, especially with the grandchildren. He also enjoyed working on cars. He was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club and the Emil Mazey Hall UAW Local 833. He treasured time with his family and friends and enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren bowl.
He is survived by his children, Dean (Paula) Loux, Lititz, PA, and Kimberly Pudwill, Sheboygan; his three grandchildren, Sarah "Sissy" Kaschak, Lititz, PA, Brandon and Lindsey Pudwill, both of Sheboygan; his sister, Donna (Lawrence) Gensch, Sheboygan, brothers-in-law, Thomas (Diane) Kreutz, Sheboygan Falls, and Russell Longtine, Milwaukee; and his sister-in-law, Andrea Kreutz, Elkhart Lake; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Besides his parents and his wife, Patricia, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Loux, his sisters, Jean Longtine and Diane Pennell.
Funeral services for Robert will take place at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Friday, June 24, 2016 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. Fr. Daniel Lasecki will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will take place in the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum of Greenlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name for cancer research.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Nicholas Hospital and St. Nicholas Home Health & Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
