Rita Reinhardt

Rita E. Reinhardt, age 75 of Sheboygan passed away Thursday morning April 19, 2018 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

Rita was born December 23, 1942 in Sheboygan to Arthur and Lucille Stichert. She attended local schools and graduated from South High School in 1961. She was united in marriage to Timothy Reinhardt on September 25, 1972 in Sheboygan. Rita worked for many years in retail until she retired. She was an animal advocate and had 3 cats that she loved dearly. She also liked to go thrift shopping and out to lunch with her high school girlfriends. Rita's goal in life was to make someone smile or laugh everyday, especially with her pickle bread joke.

Rita is survived by her son Greg (Cheri Nennig) Schnell, Cleveland; four grandchildren, Tristan (Josh Landon) Schnell, Portland, OR, Kyle Schnell, Colorado Springs, CO, Asia (Luke Stratton) Schnell, Denver, CO, and Hannah Hansen, Sheboygan. 1 great grandchild, Sophia Schnell, Colorado Springs, CO; Her sisters, Barbara Schneider, Sheboygan and Sharon (Jim) Trossen, Sheboygan; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends as well as her 3 cats, Bailey, Scooby and Charlie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Timothy, 2 daughters, Kim Hansen and Dawn Reinhardt, her brother in law, Les Schneider, and her nephew Carl (Cathy) Landgraf.

A memorial service for Rita will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday April 23, 2018 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan. The Rev. Lorrie Steward will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service.

A memorial fund has been established in Rita's name.

Rita's family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center, The Sheboygan Clinic and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice especially Rhonda, Jillian and Kathy for all of their loving care and support.
