Richard Alan "Rich" Gerth

Richard Alan "Rich" Gerth, 58, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday afternoon, March 26, 2021 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice surrounded by his family.
Born November 27, 1962 in Sheboygan, Rich was a son of Judith A. Richter Gerth and the late Roger P. Gerth. He attended Sheboygan Falls area schools and graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1981. He was united in marriage to Laura Keagy in Port Washington.
Rich worked in maintenance at Plymouth Rock Camping Resort for the last few years. He previously worked at the Kohler Company, Bemis Manufacturing and Lear Corporation. He was an avid football fan, especially the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers. He loved classic rock music but his greatest joy was the time he spent with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his twins, Shelby (Nicholas) Loth, Sussex, and Alex (Erica Raffaele) Gerth, Port Washington; his grandchildren, Faith Loth, Sussex, Kenneth Burczyk, Grafton, Ethan and Liam Gerth, Port Washington; his mother, Judith (Alan) Olson, Sheboygan; his brother, Roger (Noreen) Gerth, Greenbush; his sister, Sherry (Jeff) Wilke, Sheboygan Falls; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roger, and his grandson, Nolan Gerth.
Family and friends are welcome from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 5, 2021 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. COVID 19 guidelines and social distancing will be observed and masks are required.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Nicholas Hospital, St. Nicholas Dialyses and the Sharon Richardson Community Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Rich's arrangements.
