Raymond A. Stock

April 14, 1934 — June 22, 2014

Raymond A. Stock, 80, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday morning, June 22, 2014 at Sunny Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center where he had been residing. Born April 14, 1934 in the Town of Newton, Raymond was a son of the late Alvin and Elda Boldt Stock. He attended Newton area schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc. He then went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army. On June 11, 1960, he was united in marriage to Margean C. Schricht at Trinity Lutheran Church in the Town of Wilson. They were married for 43 years before Margean passed away on September 5, 2003. On June 25, 2005, he married Joyce Dassler. She preceded him in death on June 23, 2012. Ray was a kiln operator at the Kohler Company for 37 years before his retirement in 2000 where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Following his retirement, he worked part time in staff management at Johnsonville. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and especially loved traveling around the country with his wife and family. He is survived by his children, Debbie (Daniel) Kober and Ricky (Becky) Stock, both of Sheboygan; a granddaughter, Elizabeth (Anthony) Kober, Sheboygan; and two great grandchildren, Gauge and Logan Kober, Sheboygan; two sisters, Elaine (Robert) Waack, Town of Newton, and Myra (Russell) Albert, Cleveland; six step children, numerous step grandchildren and many step great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Stock, a sister, Irene Maala and a great granddaughter Emily Allen. Funeral services for Ray will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1121 Georgia Avenue. The Rev. Alan Kubow will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will take place in Garden Terrace Mausoleum with full Military Honors. A memorial fund has been established in his name. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice Advantage and Sunny Ridge for all of their loving care and support. The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Raymond's arrangements.
