Raymond Schneider, Jr

August 6, 1950 — February 28, 2013

Raymond L. Schneider, Jr. 62, of Sheboygan, died peacefully at his home. Born August 6, 1950, in Cleveland, Raymond was a son of the late Raymond and Luella Nonnweiler Schneider. He graduated from North High School in Sheboygan in 1968. Ray then went to Culinary School at UW Madison. He enjoyed fishing, especially on Lake Winnebago, walked his dog religiously and loved taking him to the dog park. Ray was a gentle, generous and loving person who took care of his mother and father for many years. He was also a cancer survivor. Ray worked for numerous local restaurants; the "Terrace Room" was his favorite. He found himself at Verifine Dairy working more than 37 years, retiring in November of 2012. Raymond is survived by two brothers, William (Lyn) Schneider, David Schneider; one sister, Laura (Kevin) Eissner, all of Sheboygan; two nieces, Tamara (Geoff) Ellersick and Jennifer Eissner and one great-niece, Jessica Ellersick, all of Sheboygan. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends. Funeral services for Ray will take place on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lippert-Olson Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Avenue. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
