Ralph Ninmer, 81, of 1231 Eisner Ave., passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013, surrounded by family at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Born April 22, 1931, in Sheboygan, Ralph was a son of the late Walter and Alice Krueter Ninmer. Ralph served his country in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954 and was stationed in Schofield Barracks, HI and Karlsruhle Germany. He was employed for more than 35 years by the Sheboygan Casket Company in the finishing department. Ralph enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman in the lakes and streams of Wisconsin. He enjoyed long walks outdoors and was a avid reader of many magazines and books pertaining to Wisconsin current events. Ralph cherished the visits with his nieces and nephews, for whom he always kept a ready supply of treats. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Lowe, Sheboygan, Jane (Robert) Lange, Riverview, FL, Nancy (Larry) Wynveen, Shawano, Grace (Richard) Reichardt, Sheboygan, and Ann (Sam) Salm, Sheboygan, Imogene Dexhiemer, Kiel; his brothers, Thomas, Sheboygan, and Roger (Gail), Edgerton, WI; numerous, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert "Buddy" and Walter Ninmer, Jr. and his sister, June Platz. Funeral services for Ralph will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Lippert-Olson Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Avenue. The Rev. Lorrie Steward will officiate. Interment will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013 in Wildwood Cemetery with full Military Honors. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name for the Mead Public Library.
