Philip J. Bower

Philip J. Bower, 55, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday evening, March 26, 2023 in Sheboygan.
Born November 7, 1967 in Sheboygan, Philip was a son of Mary G. Rathsack Bower and the late Roger L. Bower. He attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1985.
Phil was a handyman in the Sheboygan area for many years. He previously worked as a roofer for many area companies. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially around a campfire with his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Kayla Bower; his mother Mary (Andrew) Clark, Madison; three sisters, Cynthia (Michael) Passehl, Cascade, Cathleen (Mark) Dean, Sheboygan, and Theresa (Dave Munzinger) Bower, Milwaukee; nieces and nephews, Sonia (Leyto) Hernandez, Ashley (Russell Spettel) Bower, Michelle Archambault, Drusilla (Joshua Biederwolf) Dean, Nicole (Nick Alger) Dean, Matthew Dean, Kenny (Hailey) Bower, Sara (Kyle Herber) Bower, Kevin (Megan Jean) Bower, Breanna (Jerome Brost) Bower, and Sebastian Munzinger; many great nieces and great nephews; his aunt, Diane Pruitte, Sheboygan; uncles, Howard (Mary) Buskirk, VA, and Edward (Amy) Buskirk, MD; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Bower, his brother, Kenneth Bower, and his maternal grandparents, Cleo and Ken Buskirk; and his paternal grandparents, Lewis and Rose Bower.
A Celebration of Life for Phil will take place from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Hops Haven, 1327 N. 14th Street, Sheboygan.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Phil's arrangements.
