Patricia A. "Putzie" Simek, 68, died peacefully at her home on Friday, March 26, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Born July 6, 1944, in Sheboygan, Pat was a daughter of the late Bernard and Florence Meyer Seichter. She attended Holy Name Elementary School and Sheboygan North High. On July 28, 1962, she was united in marriage to Charles Plocar and later divorced. Patricia was employed at the 99 Hall, Denny's Stop Inn and C&D's as a bartender where she met Thomas Simek. Nine years later on March 18, 1995, they were united in marriage in Las Vegas. Tom preceded her in death on March 14, 2006. Pat was also employed for more than 20 years driving vehicles for Northgate Auto to and from the Milwaukee for auctions. She enjoyed golfing with her husband and close friends. She cherished time spent with her brother Richard going out to eat perch dinners on Fridays. On weekends she would spend with her sister Rosemary going to garage sales and Gibson Girl sales and later, to relax, doing a little gambling at a few local bars. She loved her grandchildren the most and the time spent with them. She is survived by four children; Christine Plocar, Troy (Terri) Plocar, Charles Plocar, Jr., Jeffrey Plocar; five grandchildren, Richard (Nikki) Schiefelbein III, Aaron Schiefelbein, Heather Schiefelbein, Chase Plocar and Isaiah Wilder; three step children, Amy (Dr. James) Gatto, Laurie (Jeffrey) Sies, Jennifer (Douglas) Ebert; one step grandson, Harold Gatto; one brother, Richard Seichter, Sheboygan Falls, two sisters, Rosemary (Dennis) Horneck, Plymouth, Barbara (James) Bauer, Tucson, AZ; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Simek, and her sisters and brothers, Doris Ohm, Lorretta Thiel, Kathleen Seichter, Robert, Bernard Jr., and Thomas Seichter. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Lippert-Olson Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave. Relatives and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in her name. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of St. Nicholas Home Health and Hospice for the loving care they gave Pat.
