Patricia L. Paasch, 84, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday evening, September 26, 2014 at Froedert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee. Born June 1, 1930, in Sheboygan, Patricia was a daughter of the late William and Margaret Latish Dickfoss. She attended area schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School. On November 4, 1950, she was united in marriage to Roger F. Paasch at St. John's Evangelical & Reformed Church, Sheboygan. They were married for 56 years before Roger preceded her in death on June 20, 2007. Patricia was an active member of St. John's United Church of Christ where she was a member of the Women's Guild and previously taught Sunday School. She enjoyed ceramics, playing solitaire, watching birds and was an avid reader. She loved listening to old time gospel music but her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, James (Jackie Paradise) Paasch, Cleveland, Jason (Jennifer) Paasch, Sheboygan, Julie (Dan) Pitsch, Sheboygan, Jayne (Lori Suttner) Paasch, Sheboygan; seven grandchildren, Nathaniel Pitsch, Sheboygan, Jude Fredricks, Sheboygan, Chris (Mark) Bender, Sheboygan, Margaret Pitsch, Sheboygan, Marlene Pitsch, Sheboygan, Madeline Pitsch, Sheboygan, Farah (Pancho) Cortez, Brillion; two great grandchildren, Josiah and Caleb Cortez, Brillion; three brothers, James Dickfoss, Howards Grove, Thomas (Rita) Dickfoss, Plymouth and Kevin (Gail) Dickfoss, Howards Grove; sisters-in-law, Kay, Marianne and Joanne Dickfoss, all of Sheboygan; a brother-in-law, Wallace Paasch, Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She is further survived by a daughter-in-law, Becky Paasch. Besides her parents and husband, Roger, she was preceded in death by her son Joel, her brothers, Wayne, Terrance and Timothy Dickfoss, her sister, Sharon (Wayne) Launer, and a sister-in-law, Jackie Dickfoss. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at St. John's United Church of Christ, 1248 Lincoln Avenue. The Rev. Gregory Whelton, pastor, will officiate. Relatives and friends are welcome at the church on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will take place in the Chapel of Eternal Light Mausoleum. A memorial fund has been established in her name. The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Patricia's arrangements.
