Nancy Geraldine Aschenbach

Nancy Geraldine Aschenbach, age 77 of Sheboygan passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at St. Nicholas Hospital surrounded by her family after a short battle with cancer.

Nancy was born August 7, 1939 in Sheboygan to Carl and Marie Holzer Launer. She attended North High School. On June 14, 1958 she was united in marriage to Jack Andrew Aschenbach at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. She was a homemaker and was very involved in her children's education while they were growing up. She loved knitting, gardening, spending summers at their camping trailer, quilting at church, going on bus trips, and volunteering with the UAW retirees.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years Jack, her daughters, Denise (Tom) Seefeldt, Joy (Kevin) Archer, and Holly (Scott) Anderson, her son, Brett (Linda) Aschenbach, Five grandchildren, Jena Archer, Nate (Migena) Archer, Eric (Kari) Seefeldt, Trevor Seefeldt and Ashley Hintz-Anderson, and her Sister-in-law, Anna (Nello) Zarletti.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Marie, a sister Dolores(Donald) Rudie, and two brothers Jerry and Wayne Launer.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Ave., Sheboygan. The Rev. Alan Kretschmar will officiate. Entombment will take place on Friday, June 16 at 1:30 p.m. at the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.

The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Nancy's arrangements.
