Michael R. Kubowski

Michael R. Kubowski, 74, of Wausau, WI, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 at St. Nicholas Hospital.
Born March 26, 1947 in Wausau, Michael was a son of the late Arthur Hanneman and Cecila Berlik Hanneman. He attended schools in the Wausau area.
Mike worked at Southside Tire in Wausau for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Cindy (Brian Wojan) Kubowski, Weston, WI, Carrie (Curtis) Kinch, Sheboygan, WI, Rhonda (Rollie) Gerber, Cleveland, WI, Mikey Kubowski, Cleveland, WI Garrett (Lisa) Winscher Amberg, WI; his grandchildren, Casey Selk, Taylor Welsing, Carrissa Ward, Carra Ward, Craig Ward, Jessica Richards and Garrett Jr., Drew, Tyler, Corey, Kylie, Koal, and Kailye Winscher; great grandchildren, Mason Allan, Apollo Ward Johnson and Josiah Bell Ward; his sisters, Shirley (John) Dudek, Merrill and Carol Moser; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and his best girl, Shania his Chicweenie.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, John Moser and his sister, Mary (Jim) McLaughlin.
There will be a celebration of life held on Friday, April 2, 2021 from 2 - 6 p.m at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. COVID-19 guidelines and social distancing will be observed and masks are required.
A memorial fund has been established in Mike's name.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Nicholas Home Health and Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Mike's arrangements.
