Michael John Dirks

Michael John Dirks, 36, of Green Bay, formerly of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023 in Green Bay.
Born September 29, 1987 in Sheboygan, Michael was a son of Troy & Deborah Young Dirks. He attended Sheboygan area schools, North High School and Lakeshore Technical College.
Mike worked in maintenance in the food service industry for many years. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed cheering on the Green Bay Packers. One of his passions was music and attending concerts whenever he was able. He loved to make people laugh by sharing jokes and sending internet memes. He will be remembered for being a kind, selfless, and caring person who took great joy in being "Uncle Monkey" to his nieces and nephews and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Deborah Dirks; his father, Troy Dirks; his brother and sisters, Carl (Sondra) Marschie, Lisa (Zach) Torrison, Jessica (Brian) Zamora and Caysee Dirks; nephews and nieces, Zion, Caleb and Hannah Zamora, Jaxson Wright and Tamara and Elleanore Marschie; his maternal grandfather, Bernard Young; his paternal grandmother, Emma Dirks; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dillion Dirks; his maternal grandmother, Virginia Weber; his paternal grandfather, Stanley Dirks; his uncle, Brian Young; and his cousin, Aaron Klug.
Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects and to greet the family on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
