Maxwell Robert Strojinc, 23, of Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center from complications of diabetic ketoacidosis.
Born March 1, 1995 in Sheboygan, Max was the son of the late Dawn Marie Schicker. He attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 2013. Following the death of his mother at the age of 13, he was taken in by his aunt Angela Schicker Jekenewicz where he has lived the last 10 years.
Max most recently worked for American Excelsior in Sheboygan. He previously worked for HTT, Inc. for the past three years. Max was baptized at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. He enjoyed playing video games but mostly enjoyed spending weekends hanging out with gramps, Robert Schicker, III.
He is survived by his aunt, Angela Schicker Jekenewicz, Sheboygan; his gramps, Robert Schicker, III, Sheboygan Falls; his grandfather, Terry Kaker, Sheboygan; many aunts, uncles, great aunts and great uncles, cousins, other relatives and family friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dawn Marie Schicker; grandmother, Charlene Kaker; his maternal and paternal great grandparents; great aunt, Linda Schicker; and other family members.
A gathering to celebrate Max's life will take place on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hope Reformed Church, 612 Ontario Avenue, Sheboygan. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Max's arrangements.
