Mary A. Taubenheim

Mary A. Taubenheim, 96, of Sheboygan, passed away early Wednesday morning, February 23, 2022 at Sheboygan Progressive Health Services.
Born February 9, 1926 in Kohler, Mary was a daughter of the late Peter and Adela Bredolo Del Bianco. She attended schools in Kohler and graduated from Kohler High School in 1944. She was united in marriage to William Ernest Taubenheim in 1952 at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church. They were married for 41 years before William preceded her in death on April 12, 1993.
Before her marriage, Mary worked in the main office at Kohler Company and part time for Rex Cleaning and Budgetel Hotel. Mary was a homemaker for most of her life. Mary was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church for many years. She was an honorary member of the Charity Club and did charity and volunteer work for St. Dominic Catholic Church. Mary would listen to the children read at Cooper School and was a Cub Scout den mother. She also belonged to the St. Anne's Society. Mary enjoyed baking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, reading, and ceramics.
She is survived by her four sons, Michael (Judy) Taubenheim, Grand Chute, Timothy (Angelica) Taubenheim, Larry Taubenheim, and Gary Taubenheim, all of Sheboygan; and seven grandchildren, Zachary Taubenheim, Kelsey Taubenheim, Drew Hannes, Cristin Wassink, Alissa Ellingwood, Andrea Chavez, and Tessa Taubenheim; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, William, she was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony "Tony" Del Bianco and three sisters, Angeline (John) Diener, Rena (Gilbert) Gilbertson, and Jeane (Francis) Junk.
Funeral services for Mary will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. Friends and family are welcome at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in Mary's name.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Sheboygan Progressive Health Services and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their loving care and support.
