Mary C. Calteaux, 64, of Sheboygan, passed away Wednesday morning, November 26, 2014 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Born January 6, 1950 in Milwaukee, Mary was a daughter of the late Edward and Clarice Paradise Calteaux. She attended Our Lady of Good Hope grade school and graduated from Pius XI High School in 1968. She then went on to graduate from the U.W. Milwaukee. Mary worked in the insurance industry until her retirement, working both in Hinsdale, IL and more recently in Sheboygan. She was an active member of St. Dominic Catholic Church. She furthered her studies as a Lay Ministry and Pastoral Theology. She enjoyed crafts but her greatest joy was the time she spent with her friends at St. Dominic's. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Henry Calteaux, Winona, MN, Susan (Dave) O'Malley-Larson, Port Washington, Annie (Becky Millar) Calteaux, Lyons, WI, and Michael Calteaux; nieces and nephews, Michael (Tiffany) Calteaux, and Brian (Annette) Calteaux, both of Winona, MN, Jenne (Jim) Meserve, Bangor, ME, Jenny (Drew) James, Lawrence, KS and Kim O'Malley, Port Washington; great nieces and great nephews. She is further survived by her many friends of St. Dominic's Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2014 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 21st & Geele Avenue, Sheboygan. The Rev. Philip Reifenberg, pastor, will celebrate the Mass. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery in Port Washington. In lieu of flowers, non perishable food items and paper products may be donated in her memory to the St. Dominic Northside Food Pantry. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Golden Living and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all of their loving care and support. The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Mary's arrangements.
