Mary L. Billmann

December 15, 1929 — March 26, 2014

Mary L. Billmann, 84, of Crosscreek Drive, Sheboygan, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 26, 2014 at St. Nicholas Hospital. Born December 15, 1929 in Sheboygan, Mary was the only child of Alvin and Rose Van Treeck Henning. She attended area grade schools and graduated from Central High School in 1947. She attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 1947 to 1948 before receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. On June 27, 1953, she was united in marriage to Joseph P. Billmann, Jr. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Sheboygan. Mary worked as an account executive for a mortgage banking firm in Chicago for many years, retiring in 1988. She and Joseph loved to travel all over the world, including Europe, Africa and the Middle East. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Sheboygan as well at the "Red Garters" of the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joseph; her nephew Steven (Nancy) Mannchen, Sheboygan; and her niece, Kathleen (Norman) Buskirk, Denver CO. According to her wishes, there will be no services or visitation. The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Mary's arrangements.
