Marjorie W. Jolin

Marjorie W. Jolin, 79, of Sheboygan, passed away Saturday morning, April 13, 2024, at Meadow View Health Services where she had been residing.
Born December 7, 1944, in La Crosse, WI, Marjorie was a daughter of the late Adolph and H. Sylvia Olson Jacobson. She was a graduate of Houston High School in Houston, MN.
Marjorie worked in health care for over 40 years before her retirement in 2022. She took great pride in her children and loved watching her grandson's sporting events. She enjoyed watching football and baseball and was an avid Packers and Brewers fan. She liked to keep up to date with current events, especially following politics. Her compassion could be seen in her love for animals, especially her adopted handicapped cat and her dog, Riley.
She is survived by her children, James Butler, Sheboygan, Dawn Butler, Chicago, Kim and Lori Anne Butler, both of Sheboygan; her grandchildren, Zachary, Jessica, Savannah, Eric, Payton, Stefanni, Dillon, and Josh; two great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Arthur (Mary Strabley) Jacobson, Grace Peloquin, Leslie Jacobson, David (Phyllis) Jacobson and Nancilee Sina; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, Adolph and H. Sylvia, she was preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Jacobson; her niece, Shannan Peloquin; her nephew, Hunter Peloquin; her brothers-in-law, Bill Peloquin and Glenn Sina; and a sister-in-law, Linda Jacobson.
A memorial services for Marjorie will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Meadow View Health Care and Compassus Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
