Lyle L. Krause, 75, of Sheboygan, went home to his Lord on Sunday evening, March 17, 2013 at St. Nicholas Hospital. Born September 24, 1937 in Sheboygan Falls, Lyle was a son of Myrtle Ter Maat Krause and the late Leonard G. Krause. He attended Sheboygan Falls schools and graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1956. He then continued his education at Devry University. On May 21, 1960, he was united in marriage to Robin E. Lauson at the First Methodist Church in Sheboygan. Lyle was the national service technician of Hayssen Manufacturing for 40 years retiring in 2001. Following his retirement, he continued his career repairing Hayssen equipment for Nu Dawn. He previously worked at the Sheboygan Falls Creamery and at A.C. Spark Plug where he worked on the radio guidance systems for the unmanned Apollo. He was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church serving on the property management committee. He was a member of Toast Masters, enjoyed woodworking, fishing, deer hunting and spending time at his cabin in the north woods. He was a gifted artist and oil painter, having studied for many years. He loved to fix things and tinker in the workshop. He is survived by his wife, Robin; his three children, Marcie (David) Laurin, Sheboygan Falls, Adam (Cyndi Kolb) Krause, Sheboygan, and Matthew Krause, Sheboygan Falls; his mother, Myrtle Krause, Sheboygan Falls; six grandchildren, Christopher (Kristi) Maki, Elizabeth (Ryan) Passini, Katie Smalley, Kyrie, Aleah and Quinn Krause; six great grandchildren; his sister, Christine (Ron) Schwonek, Sheboygan; brother-in-law, Richard (Alice) Lauson; three nephews and three nieces, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard and his brother-in-law, Hank Lauson. Funeral services for Lyle will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 13th & Lincoln Avenue. Rev. Alan Kretschmar will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name for St. Paul Lutheran School. The Lippert-Olson Funeral Home has been entrusted with Lyle's arrangements.
