Lydia Kaiser, 92, of Sheboygan, died Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. She had been a resident at Countryside Manor since October 2011. Born July 23, 1920, in Sheboygan, Lydia was a daughter of the late Gottfried and Elisabeth Pfister Richter. Lydia attended Sheboygan Public Schools and Sheboygan Vocational School. On January 21, 1939, she was united in marriage to Edgar Kaiser. Lydia was employed by the Sheboygan Area School District on the custodial staff at Horace Mann Elementary School and Cooper Elementary School before her retirement. She enjoyed reading and sewing. She is survived by her son Bruce Kaiser, Sheboygan; her daughter Jill Jones and husband William Majorossy, Indianapolis, IN; four grandchildren, Bruce Gessler, Beth (Mike) Vollmer, Julie (Tim) Nelson and Kurt Kaiser; seven great grandchildren, Emily (Sean) Sheil, Nicholas Vollmer, Benjamin Vollmer, Christian Kaiser, Carson Kaiser, Caelyn Kaiser, and Josh Nelson; one sibling, Ruth Heller, Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, nine of her siblings, her husband Edgar, and her daughter, Marilee Schwonek. Honoring Lydia's wishes no services will be held. The family requests that in lieu of flowers any donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association. The family wishes to thank all of the staff at Countryside Manor for the care they provided to Lydia
