LuAnn Orlebeke, 69, of Sheboygan, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday evening, July 10, 2014 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Born April 14, 1945 in Sheboygan, LuAnn was the daughter of the late Daniel and Lucille nee Lippold Eichmann. She attended area schools and graduated in the first class from Sheboygan South High School in 1963. On April 13, 1968, she was united in marriage to Richard J. Orlebeke at St. Luke's United Methodist Church. LuAnn worked for Schultz Sav-O Foods for many years in the accounts payable department. She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards and games with the girls on Saturday night which often turned into trips to play bingo and the slot machines. She was an avid Packer and Brewer's fan who also bowled for many years. She loved to sail and was an active member of the Sheboygan Yacht Club. She loved to cruise and race their many sailboats over the years and actively participated on the race committee. She liked to travel, including trips through the Panama Canal and Las Vegas. Her greatest joy was the time she spent raising her family and enjoying her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Richard; her three sons, Steven (Dawn) Orlebeke, Hartford, WI, Anthony Orlebeke, Sheboygan, WI, and Peter (Kimberly) Orlebeke, Lomira, WI; her two grandchildren, Cole and Kayley, Orlebeke, Lomira, WI; her brother, Keith (Terry) Eichmann, Nelsonville, WI; sister-in-law, Diane Eichmann, Phillips, WI; her brother-in-law, Earl (Suzy) Orlebeke, Waukesha; her Goddaughter and niece, Amanda Eichmann, Medford, OR, and her Godson and nephew, Ben (Andrea) Eichmann, Nelsonville, WI; and her three great nephews and niece, Daniel, Charlie and Maggie Eichmann, Nelsonville, WI. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Eichmann. A Memorial Service and celebration of LuAnn's life will take place at 1:00 p.m. on July 26, 2014 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. The Rev. Rick Olson will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Following the service, the family has extended an invitation to join them at the Sheboygan Yacht Club, 214 Pennsylvania Avenue, from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. A memorial fund has been established in her name of the Sheboygan Youth Sailing Club. The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with LuAnn's arrangements.
