Lorraine V. Litz

Lorraine V. Litz, 98, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday evening, May 2, 2025 at Pine Haven Christian Home in Sheboygan Falls.
Born November 22, 1926 in Oulu, WI, Lorraine was a daughter of the late Edwin and Eileen Colby Zastrow. She attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School. On August 3, 1946, she was united in marriage to Edward D. Litz at St. Paul Lutheran Church. They were married for 71 years before Edward preceded her in death on October 6, 2017.
Lorraine was a sewer at Wigwam Mills for many years before her retirement. She was also a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Following retirement, she and Ed spent their time up north in Iron River at their cottage fishing and spending time with their family. She enjoyed needlework and cake decorating. She was an avid sports fan and cheered on the Brewers, Bucks and Packers.
She is survived by her children, Sharon (Rod) Church, Sheboygan, Joanne (John "Joe") Picard, Sheboygan Terry (Kari) Litz, Mequon and Lori (Mark) Pentek, Sheboygan; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; one great great great grandchild; her sister, Judith Ziegelbauer, Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and her husband, Edward, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Litz; her great grandson, Tyler Smith; and her two sisters, Dorothy (Edwin) Soyring, and Elaine (Albert) Thieme.
Funeral services for Lorraine will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1810 N. 13th Street, Sheboygan. Pastor Alan Kretschmar will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will take place in the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
