Lori Ann Schmidt, 56, of Sheboygan passed away on Wednesday afternoon, October 1, 2014 at St. Nicholas Hospital. Born August 30, 1958 in Sheboygan, Lori was a daughter of Edith Jankovich Schmidt and the late William Schmidt. She is survived by her mother, Edith; her four brothers, John, William, Kevin and Frederick (Lisa) Schmidt, all of Sheboygan; three aunts, Adeline Brotz, Sheboygan, Joanne Curry, Cambridge, OH, and LaVerne Jankovich, Delafield, WI; and uncle, John Jankovich, Stevens Point; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, William. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 835 Huron Avenue. The Rev. Matthew Widder will celebrate the Mass. Family and friends are welcome at the church for a rosary service beginning at 11:30 a.m. with visitation continuing from 12:00 p.m. until the time of Mass at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Holy Name in Lori's memory. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Nicholas Hospice for taking care of Lori. The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Lori's arrangements.
