Lloyd H. Koeppen

Lloyd H. Koeppen, 80, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green bay surrounded by his family.
Born October 15, 1942, in Sheboygan, Lloyd was the only child of Herbert and Rose Burkard Koeppen. He attended Holy Name School and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1961. He went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1962. On August 10, 1973, he was united in marriage to Louella J. Boye at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls.
Lloyd worked as an electrician at Plastics Engineering Company for 43 years before his retirement. He enjoyed collecting antiques, finishing crossword puzzles and reading crime novels. He also loved to play cribbage, especially playing with his retirement group from Plastic Engineering.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Louella; his children, Anthony Braatz, Sheboygan, and Vicky Koeppen, Reedsville; his nephew, Michael (Jill) Dressler; other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by mother and father-in-law, Elsie and Harold Boye; and a sister-in-law, Jeanette Dressler.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 Wisconsin Avenue. The Rev. John Berg will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will take place in Heritage Cemetery near Random Lake.
A memorial fund has been established in his name for the Red Cross or the Salvation Army.
