Lisa M. Jenkins, 46, of Sheboygan, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 at her home.
Born October 12, 1969 in Indiana, Lisa was a daughter of Rodney H. Matthews and the late Beverly Biggs Matthews. She attended schools in Indiana and graduated from Heritage Hills High School in Lincoln City, IN. On April 19, 2001, she was united in marriage to David S. Jenkins in Live Oak, FL.
Lisa was an ophthalmic technician for many years, most recently for Dr. Green in Sheboygan. She enjoyed live music, playing games, cooking and long walks, Her greatest joy was spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, David; her children, Amanda Purves and Megan Purves, both of Gainesville, FL; her grandchildren, Michael Purves and Camden McGill, with Kiegan Brown due in July; her sister, Dana (Richard) Wimmer, Port Charlotte, FL; her brothers, Rodney Matthews and Dustin Gould; nieces and nephews including Jessica and Jacob Wimmer; her mother-in-law, Peggy Jenkins, Kouts, IN; sisters-in-law, Beth (Mike) Gilmore, South Carolina, and Becky Knapik, Kouts, IN; other relative and friends. She is further survived by her faithful pets, Bubba, Abegale, Albert, Bella and Kitty.
A memorial services will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Columbia St. Mary's oncology, and the nurses and staff of the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Lisa's arrangements.
