Linda Lea Rivers, 55 years of age, passed away on January 3rd, 2018 in Sheboygan, WI.
Linda was born October 12, 1962 in Madison, WI to the late Loyal and Janet Melvin. She graduated from James Madison Memorial High School in 1983.
Linda met the love of her life, Timothy Rivers in 1996. They were married April 21, 2000.
Though she worked various jobs throughout her life, she spent many years as a homemaker. She recently got a job at Walmart that she was very proud of. Linda enjoyed looking for painted rocks around Sheboygan, sewing, counted cross stitch, search and find games, and putting puzzles together. She also liked to write poetry, and could spend hours reading. She loved to spend time with her grandkids.
Linda may have left us quite suddenly, but we will never forget the type of person she was. She was selfless, and giving, always going out of her way to help everyone. She had a way of making friends with anyone she met. She was fiercely protective of her family and friends, and always knew what to say to cheer you up. She will be deeply missed, loved, and remembered.
Linda is survived by her husband Timothy Rivers, her children Jonathan Melvin, James Marks, Christina Marks; her step children Matthew Rivers, Anna (David) Soerens, Benjamin (Alicia) Rivers, Adam Rivers, and Susan Clarkson; her grandchildren Ivan, Teagan, Ronan, Ivy, and Aubrey; her sisters Phyllis (Wayne) Edlebeck, Darlene Spurgeon, and brother Larry Melvin.
