Kimberly Ann Johnson, 60, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon, June 22, 2025 at her home.
Born October 10, 1964 in Mountain View, CA, Kimberly was a daughter of Patricia A. Zenk Johnson and the late William L. Johnson. She attended Sheboygan area schools and North High School.
Kim worked in hospitality in the Sheboygan area, as well as Las Vegas and Florida, for many years. A warm, sunny beach always put a smile on Kim's face. Belize was a favorite beach destination for Kim. Kim was a talented tennis player and quite competitive. Her grandpa Artie played with her and taught her the game at an early age. She was a natural athlete and any sport she attempted, she would pick up quickly. Kim loved to entertain and laugh with family and friends. Kim was a wonderful cook and she was most at home when in the kitchen and at the grill. She had a big heart and opened her home to many friends and family in need. She also loved animals and cared for many cats and dogs throughout her life. "Cookie" was the love of her life. Kim also adored her nephews and talked about them to everyone she met. She cherished her family, especially her mom.
Kim wanted us all to remember... If storms should come then we shall just dance in the rain.
She is survived by her mother, Patricia Johnson, Sheboygan; her sister, Kristi (Dale) Rauwerdink, Elkhart Lake; her nephews, Nicolas Oeflein, Hong Kong, and Carter Oeflein, Santa Monica, CA; her aunt & Godmother, Suzanne Zenk, Sheboygan; her uncle, Jeffrey (Joan Rogers) Zenk, Sheboygan; her stepsister, Ann (Dale) Sprague; her brother-in-law, Jon Oeflein; her stepmother, Pam (Wayne) Whitacre and other relatives and friends.
Besides her father, William, she was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; and her stepfather, James Johnson.
A celebration gathering will take place at a later date.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Kimberly's arrangements.
