Kim M. Schnell Hansen, 49, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015. Born July 29, 1965 in Sheboygan, Kim was a daughter of Rita Stichert Schnell Reinhardt and the late Donald Schnell. She attended area schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1983. On February 4, 1989, she was united in marriage to John Hansen in Sheboygan. Kim was a waitress and bartender in the area for many years. She loved to travel and be outdoors, especially up north. She enjoyed thrift shopping and watching her favorite TV shows at night. She had a love of animals but her greatest joy was the time she spent with her children, family and many friends. She made an impact on everyone's life she came in contact with and always made an effort to become close to her daughter's friends as well. She is survived by her two daughters, Tristan Schnell and Hannah Hansen, both of Sheboygan; her mother, Rita (Tim) Reinhardt, Sheboygan; her boyfriend, Tony Villarreal, Sheboygan; her brother, Greg (Chong) Schnell, CO; her half sister, Nikki (Manny) Castillo, Milwaukee; her step-mother, Janet Schnell, Plymouth; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Schnell and her sister, Dawn Reinhardt. A memorial service will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. Rev. Lorri Steward will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.
