Born June 27, 1956 in Sheboygan, Joseph was a son of the Mary Ann Grunow Lampe and the late Orville Lampe.
Joe worked for Lear Co for many years. He previously worked at the tannery and various other jobs. He enjoyed fishing and shooting pool with his friends.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Lampe, Sheboygan; his two children, Naomi Cerda and Travis Lampe, both of Sheboygan; two grandchildren; his sisters and brothers, Debbie (Martin) Corson, Middleton, IN, Bruce Lampe, Plymouth, Jeff (Verona) Lampe, Sheboygan, Greg Lampe, Sheboygan, and Laura (Nick) Vugrinovich, Sheboygan; his aunts and uncle, Bernetta Mihelnik, Sheboygan, Rose Carlson, Gillett, Carol (LeRoy) Onnink, Sheboygan, and Irene Grunow, Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is further survived by his fiancé, Colleen O'Neil, Sheboygan. He was preceded in death by his father, Orville Lampe.
A memorial services for Joe will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. The Rev. Alan Kubow will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
