Joseph C. Brgoch, 88, of Sheboygan, passed away Thursday evening, February 15, 2018 at his home.
Born February 27, 1929 in Sheboygan, Joseph was the son of Charles and Mary Emersich Brgoch. He attended Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic School. He then went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army in 1946. On August 2, 1952, he was united in marriage to Darlene M. Grande in Sheboygan. They were married for 35 years before Darlene preceded him in death on January 29, 1988.
Joseph was a self employed contractor in Sheboygan for many years. He was a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Church. He enjoyed Slovenian polka music and feeding everyone who came to his house. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, compassion and generosity.
He is survived by his children, David (Lita) Brgoch, El Cajon, CA, Dennis Brgoch, Brown Deer, Marianne (Warren) Faas, Sheboygan Falls, and Linda Orth, Independence, MO; grandchildren, Jennifer (Richard) Truong, Escondido, CA, Joey (fiancée Natalee) Brgoch, Santa Ana, CA, Angela (Johnny) Scavuzzo, Olathe, KS, Stephanie (Andrew) Devine, Nekoosa, Melissa (Lee) Turonie, Kronenwetter, and Natalie (fiancé Robert Paulick) Faas, Green Bay; and his great grandchildren, Mia and Carmela Scavuzzo, Kaela and Kaylei Truong, and Porter, Willow and Beau Devine; and his nephew, Walton (Leslie Rapp) Stanley and their children, Glenn and Collin. He is further survived by his good friends, Ronnie Kringer, NY, Jerry (Phyllis) Rausch, Sheboygan, and Al (Carol) Udovich, Sheboygan.
Besides his parents and wife, Darlene, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary (Pete) Peterson, and his nephew, Allen Peterson.
A celebration of life will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. Fr. ???? will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
